YesFest

YesFest 2026 - Say Yes to a Safer, Stronger Campus - Thursday, Sept. 3rd from 4pm-8pm at Krach Lawn. Free food, games, and giveaways

Join us on Thursday, Sept. 3rd from 4-8 p.m. at Krach Lawn for YesFest!

YesFest — presented by Purdue CARE, in partnership with University Residences — welcomes all students, especially incoming Boilermakers, to an engaging, student-centered kickoff event. Dive into interactive activities on consent, alcohol safety, bystander intervention and boundary setting while exploring Interpersonal Violence (IPV) resources. You’ll also hear real stories about IPV’s impact and discover how we can work together to bring about positive change. YesFest is more than an event — it’s a celebration of empowerment, connection and respectful community values. We look forward to seeing you there!

Upon entry, each student is provided with a passport for the event. For each educational game and resource table a student visits and completes, their passport receives a stamp. Once the student completes all the requirements, they earn a ticket to either Beverly Ann's or Every's Ice Cream and a wrist band to access an inflatable obstacle course, and the use of a photo booth, spray tattoo artist, and characature artist.
