Juanita Richey

Juanita Richey (she/her/hers)

Provides oversight, engagement and strategic direction for interpersonal violence prevention education and advocacy initiatives at Purdue University.

Juanita previously worked at the Office of the Dean of Students on the Crisis Team for over 7-years where she provided advocacy and support to identified students of concern, served on the Behavioral Intervention Team and the Dean On-Call Team. Before Purdue, she was the victim advocate with the Lafayette Police Department through Bauer Family Resources, providing trauma-informed care to individuals impacted by interpersonal violence. She received her BS in Legal Studies from Grand Valley State University and MS in Human Services from Liberty University. Juanita enjoys spending time with her family, watching sunsets on Lake Michigan, and practicing self-care through music, artwork, photography, or writing.

Tiffany Botsford-Samuels

Tiffany Botsford-Samuels (she/her/hers)

Tiffany grew up in Logansport, IN. She received her bachelor of science degree in psychology from IU-Kokomo and her masters from Western Illinois University in clinician/community mental health. Before coming to CARE, she was a therapist in community mental health for three years, and did an internship at CAPS at IUPUI. She considers herself very strengths-based when working with someone, helping someone find their voice, and providing a safe place for someone to be themselves. She is looking forward to learning, helping, and providing resources to those in need. When she's not at work, she is usually with her husband, her dad and brothers, or spending time at home with her cats. She enjoys reading and jigsaw puzzles, going for walks, being creative and trying new crafts, and learning about topics she has not yet explored.

Student Support Specialist

Lila Jerger

Lila Jerger (she/her/hers)

Provides confidential advocacy and support for students who have directly or indirectly experienced interpersonal violence.
Lila works with students one-on-one to help them identify and connect with reliable resources while offering support through difficult circumstances. Born and raised in Lafayette, IN, Lila graduated from Purdue with a bachelor's in psychology and a minor in human development and family studies. Lila first joined the CARE team as an Educational Ambassador where she expanded her knowledge on interpersonal violence as well as her passion for advocating for those in need. Outside of work, you can find her with her family at the park, roller-skating with her sisters, or drinking a cup of coffee (preferably Greyhouse) with friends.

Allie Martin

Allison "Allie" Martin (she/her/hers)

Born and raised in West Lafayette, IN, Allie graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's in Developmental and Family Science and minors in Anthropology and Psychology. During her time at Purdue, she became passionate about supporting survivors of interpersonal violence and being a safe place for people to come to about anything. When she is not at work, Allie loves crocheting, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her cat!

Annamaria "Annie" Leszczynska (she/her/hers)

Born in Poland and raised in Australia, Annie moved to the United States to Pursue her education as a Student-Athlete. She graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical health sciences and later earned her Master of Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology. Annie is driven by a passion for continuous growth, lifelong learning, and promoting equity in health. She values creating an environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered. She looks forward to learning from others and applying her epidemiological skills to further the mission of care by providing resources, advocacy, and education to create a safer, more equitable community for all! In her free time, Annie enjoys taking her dog to the park, reading, going on hikes, traveling, and learning new languages.

Administrative Assistant

Monica Titus

Monica Titus (she/her/hers)

Receives students, faculty/staff, and other community members as they contact our office to schedule appointments with a confidential advocate, ask questions, and inquire about prevention programming.

Monica has lived her entire life in the small town of Delphi, Indiana. She has served as the Administrative Assistant for CARE since 2020 and has worked at Purdue since 2009. Monica has a degree in Business Administration. Monica is a proud Purdue mom. Her warm, friendly demeanor puts others at ease. She is dedicated to supporting students and serving the Purdue community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, family, and friends, especially outdoor activities, walking, shopping, and listening to music.
