Advocacy Services

CARE provides free and confidential advocacy services to students who have experienced interpersonal violence (e.g., sexual violence, sexual exploitation, relationship violence, and stalking). Our goal is to provide non-judgmental and survivor-focused services to empower survivors to make informed decisions that help them heal.

Appointments can be scheduled Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm by calling our office at 765-495-CARE (2273) or emailing us at care@purdue.edu. Walk-in appointments are also available M-F, 8-5.

Appointments can be also be scheduled below.

Students in Indianapolis are able to meet with CARE advocates from the CARE West Lafayette office. Students can meet with the advocate virtually, via phone, or in-person on the West Lafayette campus. Students may schedule online using our scheduling assistant: CARE Appointment Scheduling.

If students want to meet with an advocate in-person, they may take the free shuttle from the Indy campus to the West Lafayette campus.

Provided by Royal Excursion, six round trips will be offered daily during the week with a reduced schedule on the weekends during the fall and spring semesters. The 50-passenger buses are ADA compliant and include WiFi, collaboration spaces and restrooms.

The Rides2U app allows riders to reserve a seat and see when the shuttle is close to pick-up and drop-off locations. It is available through Google Play or the App Store. Purdue students, faculty and staff will need to create an account using their Purdue email. Using a Purdue email will ensure rides are free.

For pick-up and drop-off locations and schedules, please visit the auxiliary services website here. Get additional information about the app and the shuttle service on the Purdue Today website.

Prevention Programs

CARE offers free campus-wide prevention programming to any Purdue-affiliated organization or course.
